Advise, implement, maintain

Secure, compliant AI workflows for small and mid sized businesses.

Millwright AI Advisory advises owners and operators on where artificial intelligence fits their business, then builds and maintains it under the controls a careful operator would insist on: least privilege, human approval, audit trails, and a stop switch for every system.

Built secure from the start

Security is not a feature we add at the end. It is how every Millwright system is designed, tested, approved, and run. These controls apply to every client and every system, and each one is mapped to the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, ISO/IEC 42001, and the EU AI Act.

  • Least privilege

Every automation runs under its own identity with only the access it needs. Credentials live in a secrets manager, never in a prompt or a code repository.

  • Your approval

Nothing goes live, and no high impact action runs, without a person approving it. An approval that is not given expires. It never passes by default.

  • Tested before launch

Every system is tested for prompt injection, data leakage, and misuse against the OWASP Top 10 lists for language model and agentic applications before it reaches your customers.

  • A stop switch

Every system can be stopped at once, by workflow, by client, or across the board, and the stop is tested on a schedule.

  • Your data stays yours

Collection is kept to the minimum necessary. Client data is isolated per client and is never used to train a model. Your data, recordings, and records remain yours.

  • Compliance by process

Before a workflow goes live we identify the rules that apply to it and, where a rule calls for it, have counsel review the design. We do not launch first and check later.

How we secure every system

What we do

We advise small and mid sized businesses on where artificial intelligence genuinely fits their operations, then design, implement, and maintain the systems that follow.

  • Advise

Clear counsel on where AI belongs in your business, and where it does not.

  • Implement

Systems built around your existing workflows, reviewed and approved by you before anything goes live.

  • Maintain

Ongoing monitoring, tuning, and reporting for as long as the system runs.

More about how we work

What we build

The workflows below are the ones owners ask for most. Each one is built around the way your business already works, approved by you before it goes live, and run under the same controls.

  • After hours call capture

A voice agent answers in your company's name when no one can pick up, takes the caller's details, and hands anything it cannot handle to a person.

  • Missed call text back

When a call goes unanswered, a text goes back to the caller so the lead does not go cold.

  • Appointment booking

The agent books into your calendar within the rules you set and confirms with the customer.

  • Quote follow up

Outstanding quotes get a follow up on a schedule you approve, and replies come back to you.

  • Invoice follow up

Reminders for unpaid invoices go out on the schedule you set. Payment happens on your processor's hosted page; the system never touches card details.

  • Dispatch sequencing

Incoming jobs are sorted and sequenced for your crew, with confirmations sent to the customer.

  • Review requests

After a completed job, the customer is asked for a review.

  • Document automation

Routine paperwork, such as bid packages and compliance forms, is drafted from your templates for a person to review and sign.

Any workflow that calls or texts your customers goes live only after the consent design has been reviewed by counsel.

How an engagement works

Five steps, in this order, every time.

  1. A short call

We review how your business handles inquiries today, and whether our systems are a fit. If AI does not belong in your operation, we say so.

  2. Review and recommendation

We look at how calls, scheduling, and follow up actually work in your business and recommend where AI fits and where it does not. Every finding is labeled as a fact, an estimate, an assumption, or a recommendation.

  3. Build with your approval

The system is configured around your existing workflows, tested for prompt injection and data leakage, and shown to you. Nothing goes live until you approve it.

  4. Launch

Go live follows a fixed checklist: identities and access set, stop switch tested, disclosure in place, approvals routing to you.

  5. Monthly reporting

We monitor performance, tune the system, run automated security checks every month, and send you a concise report of results, open risks, and anything that needs your attention.

How pricing works

Who we serve

Millwright works with small and mid sized businesses. The common thread is not the industry. It is an owner or operator who wants artificial intelligence working in the business without taking on risk they cannot see.

We work directly with the people who run the business, and we are clear about the work we do not take on.

Who we work with, and where we draw the line

Why Millwright

A millwright is the tradesperson who builds and maintains the machinery that keeps industry running. We do the same work for the systems that answer your phones and follow up with your customers.

Millwright AI Advisory works directly with owners and operators. Every system we install is built, monitored, and maintained by the firm, not handed off.

About the firm

Transparency

Every agent we deploy identifies itself as an AI assistant at the start of each interaction. That is our standard for every client.
